It's true. If something you're working on is really ticking you off, and you still have some time left, you should either take a couple of hours away from it or just sleep. You'll not only feel better in the morning, but also more alert and be ready to try out some fixes for the problem.
At least it did for me. Instead of swearing like a sailor at my own code, I just slept, and decided to try out some things that I thought wouldn't need to be tried.
I'm getting places with it now, and I feel good about it. ^^v
